Steve Kutie graduated from MMEC (cert. in teaching). He started out training dressage horses in Ohio and then made the switch to reiners and cowhorses. Steve ran a large training/boarding facility in Ohio which had a large group of youth and non-pros. They competed on the local, state and national level. (congress, state fair, NRHA events) in events as hunt seat, reining, western pleasure, dressage, team penning, halter and showmanship. All of his horses are started with the principles and theories of dressage; building a great foundation to let the horses perform to the best of their ability.

He has started colts for Bronc Willoughby (NCHA earnings over one million dollars), Jim Willoughby (NRHA fut. champion), Bob Hadley (PCCHA top ten rider on many horses), Jim Gideon(AQHA world champion cutter), Keith Moore(3rd NCHA fut. open and many time world champion open rider) and Barbara Branson (Top ranked polo player). Steve has ridden and trained with all of the above over the last 15 years.

He has judged many open shows as well as given clinics. His show career is getting under way as he has horses that are currently in the show pen. Steve has won a number of AQHA reinings and shown in the NRHA. Steve is a two time IALHA Reserve National Champion Reining.
